Attached is a complete list of lane closure activity due to construction or maintenance operations on state-owned roads within the 21 west Tennessee counties of TDOT Region 4.

NASHVILLE - Based on historical experience, officials have determined that it is necessary to divert traffic from the eastern portion of the downtown loop to the western portion to avoid the dangerous and illegal pedestrian usage of the interstate, vehicles stopping and parking on the interstate, and the inevitable slowdown of vehicle traffic during the fireworks display.

NASHVILLE – Road construction won’t slow motorists across Tennessee over the July 4 holiday. The Tennessee Department of Transportation will suspend all construction-related lane closures on interstates and state routes beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, July 2 through 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6 to provide maximum roadway capacity for holiday travelers.

TDOT has set a tentative timeline for bridge repairs along I-40 at SR 171 (Mt. Juliet Road), following an interstate crash that damaged a bridge column at the interchange. Travel lanes will be reduced on both roadways for up to three weeks during repairs.

NASHVILLE - In conjunction with National Pollinator Week (June 21-25), the Tennessee Departments of Transportation, Environment & Conservation, and Agriculture want to promote pollinator health and awareness in Tennessee State Parks.

TDOT contract crews will temporarily close a portion of Cason Lane, north of the intersection of SR 99 (New Salem Highway) in Rutherford County Monday, June 21, through Wednesday, July 14, 2021, in order to install new storm drainage.
